Hungary, 11 August 1999
We observed this eclipse from Lake Balaton, Hungary. Clouds covered the sun
during much of the total phase. The images below were taken with a Nikon F3, TC301, and a
Televue Pronto. 980mm FL, f/13, Kodak Royal Gold 100.

Video of Umbra ! This
is an AVI video (1.2meg) showing the Moon's shadow moving away after the eclipse. It
compresses one minute of time into 20 seconds and clearly shows the umbra's edge on the

Aruba Feb 26, 1998, Total Eclipse
We observed this eclipse from the deck of the Fascination, on the
centerline south of Aruba.

Bolivia, Nov 3 1994, Total
Eclipse
I observed this total eclipse from the Bolivian altiplano. An arid Andean
desert 14,000ft above sea-level. We took a chartered train 400mi south from La Paz to the
center line near Sevaruyo. The eclipse occurred at 8:20am local time and lasted 2.5
minutes.

Sun and Jupiter below it. The edge of the shadow is visible in the distant sky and
observers at their scopes in the foreground

Texas, May 10, 1994 Annular
Eclipse
This eclipse was observed from El Paso TX. It occurred about 11am and lasted 6 minutes.
